Album front cover
2pac - All Eyes On Me
All Eyez on Me is the fourth studio album by American rapper 2Pac, released February 13, 1996 on Death Row record label. 2pac is known to be one of the greatest hip hop artists of all times. As seen on the explicit parental guidance certificate the album is full of bad language, violence and sexual content.
The main image is placed on a dark, black background which represents the darkness which may be presented in the rappers lyrical content. The way the album cover has been designed is very simple with a maximum of four different colours used. This is effective as it allows the audience to focus on specific things such as the name of the album ‘All Eyes On Me’ which is written in a bright red text. The piece of text stands out as it is placed on the bottom corner alone on a dark background. Also, by keeping the design simple it allows the audience to identify the name of the artist which is placed on the top right corner and is typed in large text to make it stand out. The use of a mid-shot is useful as it allows the reader understand the emotion of the rapper. In addition to this the artist is looking straight at the audience which helps us visualise his emotions
